    AINP Express Entry Stream

    Understanding the Express Entry System

The AINP Express Entry Stream is part of the federal Express Entry system, which is a points-based immigration system used by the Canadian government to manage and select candidates for economic immigration programs.
Through this stream, Alberta can nominate candidates who have already created an Express Entry profile and are eligible for one of the three federal economic immigration programs

    • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

    • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Benefits of the Express Entry Stream

The AINP Express Entry Stream offers several advantages to candidates. First and foremost, it allows individuals to receive an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points if they are nominated by Alberta. These extra points significantly increase the candidate’s chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residency in a subsequent Express Entry draw. Moreover, the processing time for AINP nominations is generally faster compared to other immigration pathways.
