    Categories under MPNP

    The MPNP offers several categories through which candidates can apply for provincial nomination

    Skilled Worker Overseas

    The Skilled Worker Overseas category is for qualified skilled workers living outside Canada who have a connection to Manitoba. This category is suitable for individuals with skills that are in demand in the province.

    Skilled Worker in Manitoba

    The Skilled Worker in Manitoba category is designed for skilled workers who are currently working in Manitoba and have been offered a permanent job by a Manitoba employer.

    International Education Stream

    The International Education Stream is dedicated to international students who have graduated from a Manitoba post-secondary institution and wish to settle in the province.

    Business Investor Stream

    The Business Investor Stream targets entrepreneurs and business investors who are willing to establish or purchase a business in Manitoba.

    Eligibility criteria for the MPNP Program

    • A score of at least 60 points out of 100 on the MPNP points assessment grid

    • Can apply with IELTS 4 bands in each i.e. CLB 4.

    • Minimum Qualification needed is Post-secondary diploma in a specific trade that required at least 2 years of full-time study after secondary school.

    • Degrees and diplomas obtained outside Canada must be accompanied by an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from a designated organization

    • Minimum 1 year work experience in the last 10 years in National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill level 0, A, or B

    • Have proof of Settlement funds and settlement plan.
