Another nation that draws foreign students is Australia, which offers a wide range of scholarships, career possibilities, and degrees that are respected around the world. Other aspects that set the US apart from Australia include the availability of courses and their lengths, pricing ranges, the difficulty of finding scholarships, the rate at which visas are approved, and the selectivity of admissions.
In order to provide comprehensive information to the overseas students, this page concentrates on covering all of these topics.

USA Entry Admission Requirements
You must have successfully completed 12 years of education to enrol in undergraduate (UG) courses. However, you must take the SAT to be considered for admission. For postgraduate (PG) programmes, 16 years of schooling are required. It translates for Indian students into 12 years of education and 4 years of undergraduate study.
However, because the majority of Indian universities offer a three-year undergraduate programme, you might need to enrol in a one-year course to make up the difference. Although the USA has begun to recognise 15 years of schooling, there are currently limited possibilities.
Although it is uncommon, certain US universities may accept your three-year degree if you attended a prestigious Indian institution. You can verify with the university’s admissions cell or your best USA Student Visa Consultant and ask about your case. To get admission in management courses you will have to appear for GMAT, and for science courses you need to give the GRE exam.
There are no cutoffs for colleges, so you need to score the best that you can in all the exams. Colleges provide average scores accepted to different courses on their websites. That will give some idea about what’s considered a good score. You will also need to appear for language exams like TOEFL or IELTS, irrespective of the degree. Even if the colleges may not require any language test for Indian students, you should still give either TOEFL or IELTS as they are important for the purpose of getting a visa.
Australian Admission Requirement
Since almost all Australian institutions require 12 years of preparatory coursework for undergraduate programmes, it is simpler for Indian students to be admitted directly to the programme or degree of their choosing.
You can enrol in postgraduate programmes after earning a three-year undergraduate degree. For engineering, you will require a four-year undergraduate degree. You may need to take the GRE in order to enrol in science courses and the GMAT in order to enrol in management courses.
Some institutions may not require you to have job experience for their management programmes. You must enrol in a graduate certificate or graduate diploma programme if you lack work experience. IELTS or the TOEFL test may waivered by the university but are important for the purpose of getting a visa. In the case of an MBA, you might be required to have a few years of work experience.
